Labview 2010 SP1. IMAQ 4.6.1, IMAQ I/O 2.5, IMAQdx 3.9.1. RIO 4.0.
I managed to find coregen.exe and use it from outside of labview. Are the vhdl files that I create from there compatible with Labview, or does Labview do anything special to them?
On a side note, I mainly need the image processing cores. I tried generating one of these cores but I got an error that I do not have "System Generator for DSP". I looked up what that is, and I believe it is not included in the version of ISE that the Labview FPGA Module installs. Assuming I am willing to pay, is there a way I can get this included, without having to buy the full ISE Design Suite DSP Edition? I could ask this on Xilinx forums, but I think it is relevant here as well because the installation came through NI.

Hi, I am looking into this more, your vhdl files that you created should function correctly with LabVIEW.
