Base Labview 2015 for FRC 2016 installed properly on a Windows 10 system. The Update fails with:
The "NI FIRST Robotics Competition LabVIEW update" installation has failed with the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
Continue?
If fails in exactly the same way for each of the 4 update components. Digging down deeper,
each of the installation subcomponents has it's own .msi file. If I run just the single msi with verbose
logging enabled, looks there is a bug in the installer with an unhandled error condition but
I cannot tell what the condition is. The log is attached. It has both 1305 and 2835 errors.
I've downloaded the zip multiple times. Unfortunately the NI download page has the incorrect
checksums for this FRC update and the LV download... I've successfully deployed
the update on other systems so I know the bits are good. I'm running from
an account with Administrator privs but tried a running from an admin command prompt.
No joy.
All my LV 2015 installs on Win 7 have gone smoothly, only the Win 10 systems
are having difficulty.

wolfeman555,
First, I'd like you to repost this question on the NI FRC forums. You'll get better visibility there from teams who may have dealt with this or a similar issue.
Second, I have a couple of questions for you. Have you had this issue on multiple Win10 machines, or is happening on just one machine? Are you using the default installation paths for the Update Suite? One thing you could try is pulling a working zip file from one of the Win7 machines and trying that specific file on a Win10 machine, in case they are being downloaded weirdly.
Let's continue this converstaion on the FRC forums 🙂
