Cannot self-test a device in MAX

I went ahead and did the MAX uninstall and LabVIEW reinstall from disk. Some VIs seem to be missing now - it searched for them in the backup folder instead of programs - and some of the wiring is broken, presumably as a result. Now trying uninstalling and reinstalling DAQmx on top.

Using MAX 5.6, my PCI devices do not appear at all. Following my reinstall of LabVIEW 2010 and DAQmx 9.9, opening my programs gives the error:

This VI needs a driver or toolkit component that is not found. Missing resource file "daqmx.rc".

You must first install LabVIEW before installing the required driver software: http://www.ni.com/getting-started/install-software/data-acquisition

You may also try to do a Force Reinstall to ignore all detection rules and just install the application again. : https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YGwJCAW&l=en-US

Please upload a screenshot of your NI MAX showing the Software bullet expanded or a Technical Report: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q0000019hceCAA&l=en-US
