I have aquired thermocouple data using my PXI system (PXI-8187 controller and compatible chassis and AI channel) in Labview environment within a while loop. I can diplay the real time data in graph or numeric indicators. However I cannot write it to an LVM file. If I use the "write measurement file" icon and wire it up with thew output port of DAQ assistant through which my data comes to the labview environment, neither an lvm file is created if it hadn'tr existed previously nor is it writing in an already existing LVM file.
Instead of Real time data, if I generate a siganl using the signal generator, I can write those data in an LVM file without any problems.
Can u please suggest what's wrong?
