Cant' get DAQ assistant to show up in Labview 2010 Eval Version

I have a USB2009 and hav installed and loaded it. It works with measurement explorer.

I downloaded an evaluation copy of Labview 2010 and want to try it with the USB2009 but I cannot gt the DAQ assistant to show up in the labview.

Have you reinstalled the Device Drivers after installing LV2010?

You need to do that so 2010 knows that the DAQ device drivers exist.

As noted here, NI had to release a new version of NI-VISA to support LabVIEW 2010. Yo did not indicate which version of DAQmx you installed, but it's quite likely that it may not fully support LabVIEW 2010, as it was just released. Do any of the standard DAQmx VIs show up? Do they work? If so, you can just use those. Many examples are installed with DAQmx so you can look at them to see how to use them without resorting to the DAQ assistant.

Yes the standard VI-s show up, not the assistant. I will dig in and see if I can just use those.
