Catching Alt Key Press with the Key Down Filter Event

Can anybody confirm whether this problem is fixed?

Seems not to be so even in LV 8.5.1.

Same in LV2018. Alt triggers the VI menu, that's why it works again when pressing alt again, as the VI-menu gets unselected. The keyboard polling workaround works though.

It functions, I wouldn't call it "working" .
