Chinese Characters

Is there ANY way to distinguish chinese characters in a string?

I've tried the lexical class but as the chinese chars are multibyte and the lexical class vi accepts only single bytes as an input (by definition) there is no way to tell..

Any other ideas anyone??

LabVIEW interprets characters based on the region settings of the operating system.  You will not be able determine if a character is a Chinese character because of this.

You either to intall a toolkit like NJStar to display it without changing your regional and language settings, or you go to control panle to change the regional settings.

LabVIEW support multi-byte charaters, this provides the flexibilities to input and output chinese characters.
