Chipscope support on sbRIO9606

Is Chipscope supported on sbRIO9606?  I tried to retarget the LvFpgaChipScope_2010.zip example and noticed that I am unable to add the Component IP to my design.

This is a repost:https://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-Labs-Discussions/Welcome-to-On-Chip-FPGA-Debugging/m-p/3417806#10249

But I did not recieve a response from On-Chip FPGA Debugging location so decided to move it here.

Looks like the support file for Virtex 6 is missing PkgNiFpgaBscanInterface.vhd.

Hi, was the support file missing from the chipscope support files or was it from an NI package that the file was missing? Also were you able to get this working?

Hi Jeff-P,

No that file is not provided in NI package so I did not get this to work.

Thanks,

Hi,

I am looking to see if I can track down that file. How did you determine that was the missing file?

Hi Jeff-P,

Unzip LvFpgaChipScope_2010.zip and run the *.exe and read the readme it tells you to put this file in your directory tree.

I think this is the ChipScope CLIP but I could be wrong.

Thanks,

Hi,

I went through those two install folders and saw what you were referring to in both the 2009 and the 2010 version. Since there is no difference between the 2009 and 2010 versions, I don't think this is as simple as a file missing. It looks like there is no support for Virtex6 in the LVFPGAChipScope as it is currently set up. The best approach at this point is to post a specific question about the Virtex6 and that file to the community page. It is monitored by the developers and they should respond back.
