Combine Character Sets (OCR)

Solved!
Go to solution

Dear all,

I´d like to create a big database with characters for OCR. I intend to create one Character Set (.abc file) for every font of interest, e.g. Times.

My question is, is it possible afterwards to combine different character sets in a single character set (one containing several fonts)?

I have tried in the VISION ASSITANT but couldn´t find any option for that.

Best regards,

Esteban

Hi Heinz,

Thanks 🙂

As you seem to have experience with the OCR tool, let me ask you another question.

I was using OCR in the vision assistant and then export my script as a VI. Surprinsingly, without changing any parameter, I obatained different results. Had this happened maybe to you?

If you have a minute, please see this thread.

Thanks again! 😉

Best regards,

Esteban

Hi esteban,

did you solve the problem you were facing with the vision assistant of merging character files and getting it properly in the VI. If so could you tell us how? we are also facing the same problem
