Combining DAQ with Sound Outputs

Does anyone know how to link a numeric amplitude from an acquired waveform to the volume of a sound output?? We are not acquiring a sound, we just want some sort of auditory feedback based on the amplitude of a waveform, i.e. the higher the amplitude of the waveform, the louder the volume of the sound output.

1. Modify the waveform's amplitude that you are using in the sound output vi

2. Use attached file to change the windows sound card volume
