Hi Thang,

Adding to my previous, Christian posted code in reply #14 of this thread that demonstrates how to rotate an image using the pciture control.

Ben,

Thank for your reply. I guess it will take PC resource to process this kind of control  while my program need to process in time constraint. And . I need a control not an indicator so to process the event on a picture control like the return slide example => scarry. Is it really out of option?

Scarry? Only the first time. Smiley Wink I just delivered one of those last week. It would have gone a lot smoother if I had remembered that the arctan only works between plus-n-minus Pi. Smiley Mad Modern CPU's seem to keep up with work like that pretty well. If you don't want to update the image on the fly and can cheat by creating alook-up table with the image for each step of 1 degree then you can probably reduce the CPU load. Then you just do the math to determine what the angle should be update the picture.

Ben,

If a element has many pictures, for example the needle has two pictures, how can I replace all of them? I am thinking using 3 needles and making them move together with the housing is the circle image.

Best regards,

After reading a post I threw together an example to prove to myself I could do this. This example uses a custimized tabe control to look like a cloud. This just aproof of concept.

"Cumulus Nebulus"

Sounds like a cross between the posts a cumulated here and your name on LAVA

Joe.

Actually, that's not the real joke. You have to know what cumulus is. Then you have to compound that by what nebulous means. Only then can you add Ben's user name on top.

I still like the ponies... Maybe that will introduce Olivia to the art of LV once she is rebelling against all (still 10 years to go...).
