Compare elements of two or more clusters

Just use Build Array.  Alternatively, you could just let your input be an array.

Excuse my ignorance, how exactly would you do that?

Have you worked through any of the on-line tutorials to help you get started with LabVIEW? The part about sorting on the first element of a cluster might not be in there, but many of the things you seem to be struggling with are.
