Compiled Network Streams Target and Host, not running on the same computer

Hello,

I tried the example in Labview and built another that I have compiled, creating stand-alone applications. Target and Host running on two different computers worked. In Labview development environment, I was able to run the Host and Target on the same computer, going very well. But if I try to run the compiled versions on the same computer, the connection fails.
This is a normal operation? I mean, NS connection can be made on the same computer, only in Labview development environment, possibly to facilitate debugging, while the compiled version works only on different computers?

Thank you

What happens when the connection fails? BSOD? Error message? A microscopic black hole forms that swallows-up your computer?

https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview/page/specifying-network-stream-endpoint-urls.html

Read the section on contexts of the url in the table at the top. That should be your answer.
