Compiler Error: can't use mode 0 for sea

I received this error message that told me to report this problem the NI Tech Support. Has anyone else received a similar message?

"Compiler Error: can't use mode 0 for sea"

I received this error while trying to save an "Elapsed Time" re-usable subVI from instructions in the "NI Motion Control Primer" document. The code that cause the error is included below. Any help to explain this error would be appreciated. The VI is not crucial to my current project, but I would like to what's going on here.

Thank you for any assistance.

Why don't you post the actual VI? I have no idea what the "NI Motion Control Primer" is and you have not provided a link to it. There is an Elapsed Time function that comes with LabVIEW but that is not the same as the image you posted.

Sorry...hope this is more helpful.

NI Machine Control Primer:  zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/8348

(pp. 40-43)

The VI is an attachment.

After posting, I thought it might also be helpful to know that the VI was trying to compile as part of a LabView Real-Time project on a cRIO. Would that affect anything?

Thanks.

I got the same error but the good news is I was able to copy the block diagram into a new one and the error went away. Maybe someone from NI can explain how it could have gotten corrupted in the first place.

Thanks for your help. I will try to copy for me and see if it works. I'll leave this post up and see if anyone else replies, but if not, then I will credit the solution to you. Thanks again.
