Configuration obstacle

I'm attempting to configure a newly installed NI-9237 4 channel wireless unit using the Measurement & Automation Explorer component of LabVIEW but not getting the expected response from the configuration panel.

I have set the laptop Network Connections TCP/IP properties to a unique IP address and then launched the Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) application. In selecting the Configuration\Devices and Interfaces\NI-DAQmx Devices - right clicking for 'Find Network NI-DAQmx Devices', the result ends with a "NO Devices Found" response. All physical connections have been verified to ensure connectivity. Even rebooted laptop and restarted the application several times.

What else can I check for or do to get MAX to acknowledge that there is a new wireless device that needs to be configured?

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

the 9237 is similar to the 9163 as far as setting up the wireless connectivity

Here's a link to the manual.  It looks like the device needs to be hard connected to a network for configuration.

Here's a link to a knowledgebase article with common trouble shooting issues for the 9163, again, similar to the 9237 for configuration purposes only.

Good Luck!
