If possible, find a LabVIEW Developer and "apprentice yourself" to her (or him). Spend time with the tutorial material listed at the beginning of this Forum. Do all the examples, including duplicating the VIs that they show you and trying to run them yourself (and see how they work). Once you've learned the basics of LabVIEW, learn the basics of DAQmx (there are also nice tutorials on this topic -- you might need to do a Web search).
