Connect PXI 1031 remotely

Dear Sir/Madam:

We got a NI PXI 1031 hardware and I want to connect it with my host computer. I ran the PXI station in real-time mode and I tried to use MAX in the host computer to connect it. However, when I want to log in this station, a dialog box pop up and asked me to enter the administrator password for the PXI 1031 station. However, I don't think I set that password before. Thus, could you please tell me how to log into that station?

I don't think it is properly connected to your PC. How you connected the PXI to your PC? through a netwrok or directly connected with the PC using ethernet cable? Are you getting reply when you try to ping the PXI system?
