Connector pane woes

My connector pane keeps re-defaulting itself back to an unwanted 6446 layout, possibly after looking at someone else's code.

I've tried playing with LabVIEW.ini keys and I've trawled the Tools>Options looking for something related, but everytime LabVIEW is restarted, the connector pane is back to 6446.

Am I missing something?
