Control of Windows sound card parameters from LV

Does anyone have a subVI to control the input levels of mic and line-in
inputs of a sound card in the Windows environment. The subVIs supplied
with LV 6 only controls the sound cards output volume but does not
control input volume or balance, for example. Any help would be
gratefully accepted. Thanks.

The problem has already been solved by XON of Germany (www.xon.de). They
have a series of subVIs bundled to allow control of Windows multimedia from
within LabVIEW. The price seems reasonable and there is a demo version available.
This has solved my problem. Thanks to Alex of Icon Technologies for the information.
