My query is about Rohde & Schwarz VNA Model:ZVC LabVIEW Instrument drivers vi's(version 6/version 6.1)
I am trying to automate using LabVIEW an UWB measurement system(system uses a R&S VNA Model:ZVC for channel measurements.
Older measurement system and software is with HP8720C VNA.
My specific task is to define this new R&S VNA ZVC using its labVIEW driver vi's in the old measurement system LabVIEW software (to integrate this VNA in the automated measurement system to decrease the time for measurements and improve dynamics).
I am a little stuck in the vi's that perform, (saving/recalling calibration) and (collection of data/transfer of data) to Computer, in the R&S Instrument driver VI's.
HP8720C VNA has very simple approach and has UTILITY VI's; (SAV/RECALL CAL.vi) and (COLLECT DATA.vi) that work with (READ/WRITE TEXT FILE.vi) to transfer the calibration and measurement data from the VNA to harddrive in the measurement system Laptop,
R&S has a different approach.In its Driver Tree Diagram, I do not find any UTILITY vi's that independently perform SAVING/RECALLING CALIBRATION, COLLECTION OF DATA and DATA TRANSFER to PC harddrive.
If anybody has worked on Controlling of R&S VNA ZVC through labview, or simply saying defined in Labview by using R&S ZVC driver vi's to carry out a simple measurement task of an RF channel {applying stimulus to channel,recalling the calibration and measuring transmission(response) and then transferring the data to Computer}, please help me in this regard.
