Controlling image capture and display with LabVIEW

I recenly purchased the IMAQ 1405.  I would like to use this card to capture an image from a VCR and display the image in a VI.  I'm not quite sure where to begin.  Can somebody give me some advice and recommend a good example VI to look at?  I know where the IMAQ VIs are on the functions palette, but I don't know which ones would be best to use in my case.  Essentially, I want to be able to press a button, immediately capture an image, and display that image on the front panel.
Thanks!

If you installed whatever came with the card, you probably have some examples and maybe express VIs (which basically do your one click thing). Try going to Help>>Find Examples and search for IMAQ or 1405. You can also try searching this site.

To learn more about LabVIEW, I suggest you try searching this site and google for LabVIEW tutorials. Here and here are a couple you can start with. You can also contact your local NI office and join one of their courses.
In addition, I suggest you read the LabVIEW style guide and the LabVIEW user manual (Help>>Search the LabVIEW Bookshelf).

Look at the HL Snap and HL Grab examples in the LabVIEW Example Finder - Grab is for continuous images while Snap is for a single image.
