Controlling navigation of a table

Jörn,

Thanks for this example. I appreciate that it is possible to create code to overcome this problem, but I really do wish to understand why it is not possible to navigate into the table the way LabVIEW states it ought to be.  I still haven't read/heard why Ctrl+Down arrow doesn't work. Can anyone actually manage this? Is this a bug?

Hi all,

This was reported to R&D (#180227) for further investigation. Thank you those of you suggested a work around using Events, I would also recommend the use of event structures to overcome this problem.

Thank you Ben for acknowledging that this is a problem.

I tried the table navigation in several versions of LabVIEW and it seems the CTRL+Down Arrow combination does work in LabVIEW 7.1, but not 8.0 onwards.

I think somebody in the NI development team broke it!
