Convert VI from LV3 -> LV7

I am in need of some assistance in converting the attached vi's. I've been told that they were written in LV3 and I only have access to LV7. Can someone please convert and repost?

Also, in conjunction with this old application, there are a number of (VI?) files of type *.LSB. Does anyone know what these are and if some version of LabVIEW can open them? An old vi library file format perhaps?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Jim,

contact NI Support they can send you a Free converter toolkit.

The *.lsb files are Files named external subroutine and are used with CIN written in CVI. Nowadays they are supperseded by DLLs. Mostly the came with drivers and the analysis library.

Hello Jim Cavera,

Thank you for your question regarding VIs compiled in previous versions of LabVIEW. It sounds like you would like to be able to run VIs saved in LabVIEW 3 on LabVIEW 7. There is a conversion kit CD available but in this case I simply opened previous versions of LabVIEW and saved up to version 7. This should work however, if there seems to be a function that is not recognized or the VI does not run properly let me know and we can get a conversion kit sent out to you as soon as possible. These files have been attached as LabVIEW 7 files. As Waldemar mentioned .LSB files are a CIN code resource that most likely came from a CVI project.

Other resources can be found on the ni.com website by clicking the support tab at the top of the hom
e page. Then search from Technical Resources at the top of the page for your topic. I hope these resources help! Let me know if you need any other support with this issue.
