Convert cluster of SINT16 to array of bytes

Hi,

I need to convert a cluster of short int16 to an array of bytes. Could you please help me with this? I am using LabView 7.0.

PACKED_STRUCT_TYPEDEF Test

{

    SINT16  A;

    SINT16  B;

/* no pad needed. */

} Test PACKED_STRUCT;

You can use the type cast function,as shown in the picture and in the attached vi.

BTW, an SINT16 is not a "short" integer, it's a 2-bytes signed integer... I16 in LV, instead of U16 for unsigned integers  😉
