Hi all,
We're trying to create Occupancy Grid Map using Kinect depth image.
We understand there's a way to convert the RawDisparity data from the kinect into (x,y,z) real coordinates in millimeters (y is height, z is the depth in mm). Is there VI which does that in LabView? (we're now using Ryan Gordon's driver to get kinect data)

Hi,
I am pretty sure that it will be possible to replicate the same functionality with LabVIEW. However, this function is very specific and I don’t think there is/will be an equivalent VI on LabVIEW.

I've not used it myself (waiting for the pennies to add up to buy a kinect! ), but the Kinesthesia Toolkit (available via VIPM) might have what you are looking for.
