Convert vi's from 8.0 to 6.1

I've got these vi's which were created in 8.2 I believe. I am running
6.1 on my Linux system, and was able to load the current 8.5 demo in
Vmware. I used this to convert these vi's to 8.0 version already.

"Delcom connect.vi" is the main vi with the others as subs. I believe
my 6.1 has a "Serial Read with Timeout.vi", but they all get loaded and
convert when saving as an old version.

Could somebody please convert these for me? Thanks much in advance.

I'm not sure what happened to my original post, now it seems to have
evaporated completely. I tried using Thunderbird, and am now using
Claws, which seems better. I have not use usenet in years, and it's
state of support by ISP's seems to have gone downhill, probably due to
pron abuse.

Anyway, I'll try to recreate my original post.

The attached vi was written by Florian P. of Cambrios with a small
amount of my input. He saved it as ver. 8.2.

I have ver. 6.1 on my linux system, and was able to install the 8.5
demo in Virtual box. Using this, I converted the vi to 8.0, and now
need help to get it down to 6.1.

The primary vi in this zip is "Delcom connect", so opening this one and
resaving should take care of all of them. Thanks again!

Hi Roland,
do not preview your post.  This removes attachments for some reason.

OK, I seem to be really messed up on this. I can't see any of my
posts, I've tried thunderbird, pan, claws, and online using Google
groups. Please bear with me until I get this figured out.

My centurytel usenet server seems to be intermittent as well.

Why don't you use your browser and just go to http://forums.ni.com/ni/. Forget the usenet.
