Copy and paste windows into word doc?

Hi,

If you want to display a front panel in a word document, how are you able to improve resolution and include the front panel window as well? Also, I've tried pasting a block diagram onto a word document, but my express VI's dont include their original description, instead they say 'instance # clipboard.vi'. Is there a way around this?

Thanks
D

If you are wanting to do this outside of LV then there is a great tool that I like to use called Snagit. It will let you do a multitude of things with capturing windows. If you need to do this within LV then altenbach created a tool for using the clipboard. you can search the forums for clipboard and you should find it.

Hi damsin,

have a look at this thread
I use this to paste front panels and/or block diagrams into a file or the clipboard.
