Copying Code from Labview

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi guys,

I'm sure this has been posted in the boards but my search doesn't show any good results.

I noticed in some posts that people were able to "attach code" as an image. I tried ctrl + c after highlighting

everything in the block diagram view then ctrl + v in the insert code section. Is this how you're supposed to

do it? I'm using a 2012 evaluation version of LabView, could this be why it doesn't work?

Thanks,

William

Select your code.  Then go to Edit->Create VI Snippet from Selection.  This will create a png file that you can post.  Even better, you can drag this snippet onto a VI and the code will automagically appear.  It is a great tool.
