Count pulses in PCI 6601with Labview

OK! I am new to Labview. All I am trying to do is to count the pulses coming in to the 6601 and count the pulses and get output. Is there an example? What pins shout I use for the input / output? for DIO how can i get the input so that I can get the counter output?
