Creating a bargraph or scatter plots on a TouchPanel

Is it true that the only plot allowed with the touchpanel module is a line?  This is strange as the typical application for an XY-graph is a scatter plot (ie individual points without a line connecting them), while a bar (or column) plot is a standard display element for a HMI.  I cannot get either of these plot types to show on the touchpanel.  It reverts back to a line.

Am I missing something or is this a limitation of the graph control?

Are there any third-party graph controls that allow points or bars?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi AnthonV,

What TouchPanel vi's are you using to plot the bar graph?
What version of LV are you using?

Here's also a help file that explains what's supported and what's not on the touch panel:
National Instruments >> LabVIEW 8.x >> LabVIEW Help
Unsupported Controls and Indicators (PDA Module, Touch Panel Module)

Thanks Van, before you replied I posted several Touchpanel questions as a new thread, so to keep things neat any further replies should be done here.  This issue is also mentioned there.

I'm using the TPC-2012 and LV 8.5.1.  I found the helpfile you mentioned very useful but it does not explicitly say anything about the types of plots that can be made.  It is a very useful resource though for anyone creating a front panel with the touchpanel module.
