Hello,
I did a quick search and did not find a specific answer.
Is it possible to Sign the Labview EXE and installer without causing problems.
I believe its just meta data attached to the exe.
Anyone with experience with signing the Installer?, since there are multiple installers provided you would need sign dozens at once.
This if for a Labview 2019 project, Does the latest 202x Application builder support signing?
Thankyou.

I have no experience with this, but there is a security page in the build settings for both applications and installers, which allows signing, and it has been there for quite a few years (certainly before 2019). I would probably start reading here.

Hi Knight,
Thanks for pointing that out. I did discover the security settings, but the Help page is pretty thin on information.
The issue is software like Spectra Asure scans all the installers for Signatures, and there are many installers in the Volume directory subfolders that are not signed. And this throws red flags.
And LV does not specifically say that it will sign the installers in the subfolders.
I was hoping someone had experience with this on the latest version of Appbuilder, since I Opted out of the Appbuilder subscription because of cost.
Maybe someone can check the installers in the subfolders for Signatures in their LV 202x Builds and let me know.
I might have to remove the additional installers, since they are individually signed like the RunTime installer, and install software components separately. That simplifies signing at least for CA like SSL that limit how may signings you do per month.
Thanks
