DAQ I/O on Mac OS X with Express

Is it possible that NI expects me to buy the Real Time Module to perform DAQ I/O with Mac OS X?

They have assumed that all Mac users are MENSA material and consequently no longer need Wizards.

Besides the RT module, you have the option of using the Measurement Hardware Development Kit (DDK) to interface Mac OS X with DAQ hardware. There is a link below to the DDK.
