DAQ Solutions not available on start of LabView (6.1)
DAQ solutions button is grayed out and cant be selected.

I beleive the NI-DAQ utilities were not installed when you installed Labview. Install them, and if that still doesn't work reinstall Labview. I had the same problem before and reinstalling labview worked for me.
