DAQ signal generation and read

Hi, in my project I want to generate sine wave at AO in frequencies from 1 up to 1k Hz. In each step I want to read on AI the amplitude of the signal. I have NI-PCI 6221 card. I want to use it to test analog filters, so I'll be reading the amplitude in two points. The question is how to perform synchronisation between generation and data acquisition so the time between generation and read for different frequencies is shortest. I'm the beginner in LabVIEW.

Need your help,
Michał

Have you gone through any of the tutorials for LabVIEW. There are some good ones on this website. As for DAQmx I would suggest reading this. For your project here is an example that you could adapt for your needs.

Now Using LabVIEW 2019SP1 and TestStand 2019
