I have no experience with the DDK and hope I never do. All I know is what it says on the link I provided and there it says you have "access to the full device register map". There is a dedicated DDK forum where you should post these types of questions. Since you almost certainly could not mix DAQmx and your custom driver in the same application, this might not be a solution at all and you will just have to have an actual DAQ board.
