DAQMX vi files missing in Labview 2013

I try to open this file slinger-logger.vi [see attachment], but I can't open it, because it is missing files such as DAQmx Clear task.vi

I already tried to install several versions of DAQmx (14.1, 9.9, 9.4):

But I couldn't get the file working without those missing vi errors. Can anyone get this file working in Labview 2013? Or Labview 2012?

That file is working ok.

Did you install support for LabVIEW 2013 when you installed DAQmx?

To make sure what version you have installed, go to NI MAX and take a picture of what is listed under Software.

Second, verify that when you right-click on a block diagram in a fresh new vi, under Measurement I/O you have a NI-DAQmx option.

I have no problem opening the vi.

You did reboot after installing NI DAQ right?

Why do you install random version of DAQmx, especially since 9.4 does not even support the LabVIEW 2013 or 2012 versions you mentioned. You even show the link outlining that! Pick the neswest one only!

Tell us exactly what you did:

  • Did you install DAQmx after installing LabVIEW and did you select support for the installed LabVIEW version?
  • Did you reboot after installation?

I have LabVIEW 2013 SP1 (32-bit) and DAQmx 9.9

No problems here.

Hello,

I have a very similar problem as kihan did.
When loading the main project file, several VIs related to DAQmx (such as "DAQmx Clear Task") are not found on my computer.

I'm using Windows 7 Pro SP1 64bit, Labview 2014 32bit, NI-DAQmx 15.0.1.

Two USB cards are used by the program: NI-USB 6341 and NI-USB 8451 (both visible in MAX)

How can I make it work? any problem expected due to the 64bit OS?

Thanks!

In what order did you install the DAQmx driver ?

Did you remember to verify that the support for LabVIEW 2014 was marked when you installed the DAQmx?

I installed Labview first, but I can't remember if I marked the installation of the support for it in DAQmx (probably did though)

Try to repair your DAQmz installation.
