DAQpad 6052E can't acquire data

Hi,

I am using a DAQpad 6052E and get the error message -10441. Test panels in MAX work.  I am using the AI acquire waveform vi as my acquisiton subvi. I am acquiring an anlaog input signal and the device and channel are set. I am using Labview 8. I have 3.5 GB RAM so there should not be a problem with memory. Where are the block transfer errors sourced? Thanks for your help.

Hey,

It must not be a problem with your amount of memory, it could also be a problem with to high sample rates, or to high number of samples. It also depends on how you programm your acquisition in terms of continous bufferd, or do you call your subVI with an finit acquisition again and again....?

Just try to reduce the number of samples and/or the sample rate and see what happens.

Hi Seguro,

From the research I’ve done in our database I have a couple of suggestions for your problem: first let’s decrease the buffer size, second let’s try upgrading the driver to the latest version your labview can use PCI-6025E and third what happens if you run the example “Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk.vi”?; this example will let you change the samples to read and the sample rate.  Then you can take a look at this discussion forum: Unable to reset DAQ error -10441 on PCI6111E.

I hope it helps

Thanks for your help. I am installing the new driver and hopefully things should work out. I'll keep you posted.
