DB database tools VI

Where can I find those db tools VI? (open connection, insert data....). I usually copy them from some old VIs, which already exist. Where is the original source? Thanks.

If you mean "Open Connection IrDA" or the like, you can find it under the Communication palette in the Block Diagram Window.

If you're talking about the toolkit that you buy, it should be in the bottom right of the functions palette.

If you're not finding it there, perhaps it's not installed properly, or it's not in the right spot on your hard drive.

The default directory (and consequently the directory that LabVIEW looks for it in) is

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\vi.lib\addons\database

Try checking there, and if they're not in there, do a search of your HD for something like "connection.llb"

It is part of the Developer suite if you own that, or it is a seperate toolkit you can buy. Either case it does not install by itself when installing LV.
