DSC 100% CPU USAGE

I'm looking for the solution to eliminate the problem of the high CPU usage of the DSC tool kits. My system has LabVIEW 7.0 and DSC 7 on the Windows 2000 Pro SP4; DSC communicates to PLC using RSLinx OEM version; about 250 tags I/Os. The CPU is about 75% after boost up. The nicitdl.exe takes 75 to 94 % CPU usage. When I load LabVIEW application it goes up to 100% many times and the system is crashed frequently. Blue screen of death and LabVIEW application quits many times some time it shows illegal operation or LV generate errors system shut down. The other time LV application just quits without any warning.

Any one know about this issue please help me, Thank you very much for your time.

I have run a DSC application on windows 2000 with 2000+ tags and Kepware opc server with 512Meg of system memory. You might want to delete your existing Citadel database or select a new location.

This article helped a bunch. Might be worth doing a mass compile or an uninstall/reinstall. How full is the hard drive??
