DSC 8.2 datalogging has large deadband

I have a fieldpoint system utilizing the logging feature in the DSC 8.2. When I look at the data being saved to the database it only changes in whole unit increments. I need to be at .01 as a resolution for logging. I have tried setting the deadband value to .01 and 0 to try to get accurate data. There has been no change in the values being logged into the database.  When viewing this data in the Historical Data tab in MAX you can see large steps in data being recorded over time. I have also tried enabling and setting the update deadband as well with no success. Was wondering if there is another setting or some other feature that would cause this. Thank you in advance.

What's your data type. Integers can only change by whole increments.

Just an FYI for the forums, I worked with Doug on this issue and his deadband settings were OK.  The issue was compiling the correct part of his application he was distributing as an executable.
