Hello,
I recently started a project where my client wants me to use DSC, apprently he's heard good things about it. I've never used it (or heard of it until he mentioned it), and haven' t been able to get a good grasp of what it's all about from the NI website. I do data acquistion from sensors which I log about once a second, and typically I just write this out to a file and save the file. These logs are written to continuously (24/7) for several weeks, and the way I've been writing my code after writing 36,000 lines to a file, my programs start up a new file and continue writing data. This has worked fine for me.
Is DSC a better tool for doing what I do? What kind of criteria would tip the scales in DSC's favor over coding with the standard LabVIEW tools?
much thanks!

I use the DSC for its built in NSV-> citadel db logging. I have been logging this way 24/7 for over a year and it works great!

Fibo,
I would recommend asking for a live demo if you are really interested:
