DTMF generation with NI SPEEDY 33

Solved!
Go to solution

I have compiled a block diagram for DTMF generation, but when running the VI on the SPEEDY 33 DSP the tones sound incorrect. I am looking for some advice on what to change in order to make the tones sound correct. My VI is attached.

Thank you

In what way don't they sound correct?  Too high pitched, too low pitched, crackly, too quiet, too loud, ......?

Too high pitch? That may be the best way to describe the generated tone.

I have attached a wav illustrating my generated tones from the SPEEDY 33.

Thank you.

Kiz-

Does your SPEEDY 33 work correctly when running the “Sine Generator” example from the Example Finder (only available in LabVIEW 8.6 or below)?

Does your code work correctly with a different SPEEDY 33?

Thanks, after reviewing the sine generator example I noticed that the Fs on the Analog Output was set way too high.

Thank you.
