Hi All,
I have a dalsa genie GigE camera which is also visible in NI-MAX and I am able to take images in NI-MAX. but , I want to grab and save the images using labview program.
I already tried with find example grab.vi file, but it says the network problem either by packet size or by firewall transfer .
I changed packet number to 512 and 1500 and also in my case the firewall transfer is not enabled in the camera attribute so I tried to enable but even that functionality can't be changed.
Is there any example for it or any suggestion.
Thanks and Regards
Ashish

Did you try using the Vision Acquisition Express VI? I believe it would give you a good start to grab images/videos and processing them.

-What is the exact error message? Post screenshot of the error message.
-Did you enable the Jumbo Packets?
-Follow the case 3. The camera can be opened in MAX, but it does not acquire images in below troubleshooting guide: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000YM6JCAW&l=en-US

Hi Uday,
I am not getting how to change Jumbo Packets in my computer as I am not getting such option in Intel Network/Desktop adapter setting. Can you tell me how to resolve this.
( The error I am getting as NI-IMAQdx (Hex 0xBFF69031), The system cannot acquire images. The packet size is too large or the network setup or firewall may be blocking the network traffic from the camera. )
Looking for some suggestion or help in that regard
Thanks and Regards

-Can you post equivalent screenshots in this post:https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019Lj9SAE&l=en-US
-What Network Interface Card you have?
-What OS?

Dear Uday,
Network interface card is : Intel(R) 82567LM-3 Gigabit Network Connection
OS is : Windows 7
Error is : Error 0xBFF69031: The system did not receive a test packet from the camera. The packet size may be too large for the network configuration or a firewall may be enabled.
I am also attaching the lab view program which I am using to start Dalsa Camera using Labview
Also do you know, how to trigger the GigE HM1400 Dalsa camera using labview program.
Thanks and Regards
Ashish
