Daq Event/Occurence

I'm trying to use DAQ Occurence Config, to generate an occurence every time
a counter changes state(as it's supposed to do).

I am using a PC-TIO-10 board, and I am a little confused on the wording in
the help files as to the use of EXTIRQ1, and its role in generating the occurences.

Also, the support database mentions having to set certain jumpers on the
board to enable interrupts. Wondering if that's necessary to generate the
occurences at the software level(LabVIEW).

If anyone can explicate these matters, it'd be much appreciated.

To clarify:

I'm using DAQ 6.6, LabVIEW 5.1, PC-TIO-10 board on an NT machine. I've set
jumper W-2 so that Counter 2 serves as an interrupt line(I don't know if
this is necessary or not but the online support mentioned something about
it).

I configure Counter 2(or any other counter-still doesn't work), for a continued
pulse train(~5 Hz). I pass the taskID over to DAQ Occurence Config, and
pass the occurence over to Wait on Occurence, but the wait on occurence never
triggers.
