I've been playing with the idea of creating a dashboard consisting of all my vehicle's gauges from a color lcd screen. I've been looking into some custom screens to fit into my dash. Any ideas where I can get a wide screen but short in height compatable with labview? I was thinking of a lcd color screen 12" x 5". Any ideas?
You'll need to find an LCD that comes with a LabVIEW driver like this one to help you write your program. Or if you find an LCD that takes serial commands, then you can use NI-VISA to communicate with it.
