Data Exporting from graph to excel

hi,

I am using LabVIEW 2011 and recently observed that i am unable to export the selected data on the LabVIEW chart to excel(which i used to do before). I stopped several services of LabVIEW in my PC few weeks back and  i suspected that this could be the reason for that. However after resuming all the NI services in task manager, still i am unable to do the same.

 if there is any missing piece of services/utilities in my PC which is causing this problem?

pls guide me on this.

Are you doing "right-click...export ...export data to excel"? (or something else)

What happens if you try? (right-click menu entry missing? Nothing?, etc.)

Do you have excel installed?

Hi altenbach,

With Labview 2020 SP1 I have also been unable to right click and export graph data to excel. I used to be able to this before.  Excel does not open.  Previously, Excel would open open up with a lvtemporary 1234.* file.  That does not happen anymore. Perhaps I have inadvertently removed a pathname...

However, I am still able to rightclick and export to clipboard and then manually open an excel file and paste the data.  Could you kindly advise how to correct this please?  I suspect its something to do with configuration in labview.
