Data has been recorded for 180s but only about 155s data recorded

Dear Sir/Madam,

I used the program developed by my labmate Jingyu Feng to record data. After I reinstall all software, I suddenly noticed that the recorded time is not the same as real time. I recorded the data for 180s (timed by a stop watch), but then I found only 15500 data points(no# of samle 1k, rate 100k). Can you help me figure this out?

Thanks.

Don't post serial number here. Instead post your vi or a snapshot of your problem.

Please delete the serial number from your post. Rush quickly, the editing time of your previous post is only 10 minutes.

We can't solve this without your code or a picture of your code.  However, some things which may be causing the error:

  1. You are using software timing on a desktop operating system (e.g. Windows Vista or SuSe linux).  Interruptions by the operating system can easily cause your timing to be incorrect.
  2. You are using software timing and have too much code in your acquisition loop.
  3. Your timing source is not accurate.  This could be either the timer you used originally or the timer which clocks your data acquisition.  This is particularly true if you are using a simple RC network for the system data acquisition clock.
Please post your code so we can help you.
