Database Connectivity toolkit with MSDE2000?

Hello everyone!

I'm very new with labview and this is my first question here.

I know that i can use the database connectivity toolkit with a SQL server and i would like to know if i can use it as well with the MSDE2000. It seems like it is possible but i would like to be 100% sure.

Hi Vincent,

Welcome to the forums and good luck with your LabVIEW endeavors!!  You can indeed use MSDE 2000 with the Database Connectivity Toolset.  The general rule is that any database that provides either an ODE DB Provider or an ODBC Driver can be used with the Database Connectivity Toolset.  MSDE is fully compatible with SQL Server and uses the same ODBC Driver.
