Datalog I/O File problems in PDA modul?

I have a VI thas save on then read waveform witth Datalog I/O File functions, on PDA I get error "Write Datalog error", the same VI work fine in LabView.
I think that problem is in attributes component of waveform which is variant data type, becuse when I save cluster that contain variant data type I get error but saving same cluster without variant data type works just fine.

Does somebody has any experience with that?

Hi, Andrej.

Let me make sure I'm understanding you correctly: you're saving data to a Datalog file and then later reading the data from the same file. When you're reading data that contains a variant inside a cluster (on PDA), you get an error. Without a cluster, everything is fine. Is that correct?

If so, I'd like to get some more information about the error:

- What VI generates the error?
- Can you please tell me exactly what the error says?
- What sort of data is stored in the variant when you save the file?
- Can you please send me a screenshot or two of your block diagram where you write and where you read the Datalog file?
- What version of the PDA module are you using?
- What version of LabVIEW?
- What Operating System?
- What PDA platform? PocketPC or Palm?
