Datasocket Server On RT Target

I'm wondering if a datasocket Server can be used on a RT Target. I can get datasockets working correctly on windows, but I always get errors on the RT.

I have come to the conclusion that you can only use datasocket read/write on a RT Target, but not the actual server.

Is this correct?

You are correct in saying that you cannot run the datasocket server on the RT system: Which Products Support DataSocket?
To use datasocket in RT, run the server on a Windows host and use the correct URL in the datasocket functions running on RT.
